wheeled 22″ luggage allowed on plane as carry on?

Is a 22″ upright wheeled luggage allowed as carry on,on a plane? I flown few times and never payed attention to what people use as carry on. My luggage with wheels is about 22 inches standing upright.I will be flying delta.hoping it will be allowed.the 22″ luggage came with my set that had bigger one.I will be flying friday early morning.don’t want to be charged.

You must find out from the carrier. The total dimensions, height, width and depth MAY be considered but only they can tell you for sure.
