Europe plug adaptor/voltage converter question – please help!!?

I’m going to Europe (London and mainland Europe) and I bought a “Royal Traveller by Samsonite International Converter Adaptor Set” that converts 50-1600 watts. It says right on the package that it can be used with heat appliances, but I’m wondering if I can also use it with my camera battery charger. It’s the charger for the Canon SD 890-IS, and the battery is a lithium ion with 3.7V. I also found out this about the battery: Capacity: 1100mAh, if that’s helpful. (I don’t know what that means.) Also, if the voltage of my appliance and the socket are the same and I use my voltage converter just because I need to convert the plug, will that ruin my appliance? Thank you!! :)

You cannot use a heating type convertor for electronics. You need a transformer type.
Check you charger though, many these days are multi-voltage switch-mode types that would just need a plug adapter.
