Travel Rolling
How to take rolling shots of cars?

What sort of settings would I need to set on my camera to get a good rolling shot of a car. I know that you have to be traveling approximately the same speed, but what else?
I would like the car to be sharp as possible and the background to be blurry. Basically this picture: http://www.snapriot.com/lightbox/gallery/CarShoots/thatchercorrado/thatcher%20065%20copy.jpg

If you want a sharp car with wheel rotation, try 1/500-1/750 sec.

Slower shutter speeds will give you a better sense of movement but it also risks blur from camera shake.

You can also try panning from the side of the road — it may offer less wobble.
