I visited Tijuana way back in 1989. I only spent a few hours there as I spent most of the time in Mexico playing beach volleyball at nearby Rosarita.

For those of you that don’t know Tijuana is located just over the border of USA and Mexico in the north-west corner of Mexico. It is a bit over 20 miles from San Diego to Tijuana. As the border crossing is one of the busiest in the world it can take time to cross.

In the video below James Knott takes you on a tour of Tijuana, Mexico. He gives you a good idea of what to see if you are thinking of visiting Tijuana. You can see a higher quality video if you visit his web site www.agileh.com.

In this video he says you can visit the Toreo de Tijuana to watch bull fighting however it was torn down in February of 2007.

If you go to Tijuana you need to be aware of things going around you as it is said by some people that the city is dangerous. From my personal experience it was fine but that was quite some time ago.
