Can Smoking A Rolled Up Piece of Paper With Nothing Inside, Hurt You?

I didn’t inhale it while i had the piece of paper in my mouth, but i did stick it in my mouth and wait for my mouth to get smoke in it and then blow out and watch it…Is this bad? Is doing this worse than cigarettes?
