How to get neon green fingernail polish out of a pair of work pants.?

me and my mom were walking through th mall yesterday when some kids were throwing fingernail polish to each other, and when he bottle of neon green polish shattered on te floor my mom walkedRightt by and it got a couple spots on her work pants. we found out that finger nail polish removerwouldn’tt work…anyone haveAnyy ideas?

if the pants are 100% natural fiber (cotton or wool) then use 100% acetone and it will get it off. However, acetone will melt polyester so if the work pants are poly or poly blend forget it.
