Luggage Baggage
How did Concorde handle baggage / luggage in limited space?

I saw a display and there didn’t seem to be any cargo deck. Where did passenger suitcases go? Were there stricter weight limits? Were they flown separately?

The Concorde was very weight critical and all baggage was to be individually weighed and identified as to its longitudinal/airframe position, to ensure accurate weight and CG of the final load. This pertained to carry-on luggage as well.

There’s a good article here about how failures of that system aided in the fatal crash, http://www.concordesst.com/accident/englishreport/16.html
