Leather Car
Is Leather car interior really bad to have in Miami?

I’m considering buying a car with leather interior, but I’m moving to Miami in July. Someone told me it would get really burning hot (like in California where it breaks 110 every summer), but I was thinking that Miami is more humid than hot. Has anyone had leather interior in the Florida area? Any advice?

Thanks a lot!

Miami is hot AND humid…
We have an SUV with tan leather interior, and it’s been about 2 years and the leather has become a bit hard on the edges and has small cracks… We’ve taken care of it the best we could, but I guess there really is no preventing leather from getting damaged (even is its just a little damage)… Also leather gets burning hot in hot weather, and freezing in cold temperature, and that gets annoying.. The choice is really up to you.. I say take a gamble and buy the car you want and go all out to reduce the amount of heat that enters your car (tinted windows, or those foil things you put on the front), and condition with leather cleaners as much as possible… there is also the choice of buying seat covers, but then whats the point of getting leather?
Anyways, Good Luck =]
