When is the best time to go to Wisconsin Dells?

The wife and I plan to ride our Harley up from Missouri, but don’t know when the optimal time to visit would be. Most of July is out due to our son being in Babe Ruth All Star Baseball. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mid August is usually a good bet. The weather is usually warm enough to enjoy its many waterparks & outdoor attractions. But if it is either cold or rainy, look up a few places a little way out of the Dells, Circus World Museum at Baraboo, or if you like museums, look up Mid Continent Railway Museum which has a daily train running during the summer. Otherwise, there are plenty of tourist attractions in the Dells to keep you busy for more than enough enjoyment.
