Want to travel like Royalty? Cunard ships have you covered. By the end of 2010 three Queens will be sailing the seas as part of the Cunard fleet.
Queen Victoria was ceremoniously named, by royalty, in her home port of Southampton on 10 December 2007.
Queen Victoria’s interiors are what would you expect from a more gracious era with a dramatic three-tiered Grand Lobby and sumptuous marbles, woods, plush carpets, rich fabrics and soft furnishings that simply exude elegance.
The Queen Mary 2 is one of the most luxurious ocean liners ever built. Did you know that your dog can travel with you on the QM2? If you travel between New York and Southampton in either direction, your pooch would be overseen by a full-time Kennel Master who takes care of responsibilities such as feeding, walking and cleaning the ship’s 12 spacious kennels.
The Queen Mary 2 departed on her maiden voyage on 12 Jan 2004. She traveled from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale, United States.
In the norther autumn in 2010 the Queen Elizabeth will join the Cunard fleet.
