About this time of year most of the schools are back in around Australia. During the school holidays I got away with the family to the beach. We found our way to Mollymook in New South Wales. It is a beautiful place and my wife especially likes swimming in an area that is protected by rocks. She is not a fan of waves.
This was a great time and we enjoyed our coast holiday. The problem was it was too short. During the Christmas and school holiday period I still had to entertain my daughter while at home. This has made me feel like I still need a holiday. My wife and I will be planning to go away soon on a holiday in Sydney to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Just a few days away without our daugher…

If you know the feeling of seeing the kids off to school but still feeling exausted maybe you also need to get away for a short holiday just with your special someone. Hopefully that is your wife or husband or at least your partner, not like Tiger Woods…
Some great holiday ideas include a long weekend on the Gold Coast, a couple of days in Melbourne for some shopping. You can also take in a drive along the great ocean road and maybe say hello to the penguins on Phillip Island.
If you are in Sydney maybe a romantic getaway in the Hunter Valley could be for you. Just spend some lazy time tasting wine and enjoying the scenery.
Whatever you decide you can check out the deals available at Zuji.com.au.

Las Vegas used to be the place to go for gambling, mega shows and the all you can eat buffet. The casino managers wised up and found that providing a great value destination for families brought in a lot more cash.
Las Vegas is now one of the most popular vacation spots for families in the United States and travel companies are responding with some very affordable packages. It is easy to find a Las Vegas vacation package that is right for you. Here is how to spot a great deal and swoop it up before it is gone.
Travel Sites
Travel websites are one of the most common ways of booking a Las Vegas vacation package. You can find great deals at sites such as Orbitz, Expedia, and Travelocity. Travelocity in particular offer year round Vegas deals such as the Las Vegas at Its Best – MGM Mirage Package. This package includes two-for-one spa privileges at Excalibur, dining discounts at TI – Treasure Island, 4 night stay, flight, and hotel starting at a low $220 per person. You can also add on Mystere’ by Cirque Du Soleil for $83.
Another example of a great Las Vegas vacation package is the The Pulse of Las Vegas – Harrah’s Entertainment Package. This package includes a $25 resort credit at Caesar’s Palace or two-for-one tickets at Rio, a four night stay, and flight for around $248 a person. The Producers can be added to the package for $77, a Hoover Dam tour for $47, and The Blue Man Group show can be added for $84. There’s a lot of mix-and-match that can be done to get the package just right.
These sites allow visitors the choice of booking a flight, a rental car, a hotel room, or a mix of the three, in packages. The more you book, the more you save. Finding the best Las Vegas vacation package is done by clicking the things you want to book, typing in the city you are leaving from and the Las Vegas airport, the dates you want to stay, and how many people are going. The site will bring up a list of prices you can choose from.

Going to the official Las Vegas website (vegas.com) can put you directly in touch with Sin City’s top vacation packages. The site makes it easy to plan vacation packages that revolve around a wedding, spas, gambling, golf, or attractions.

That is what we say in Australia when heading to the beach. Slip on a shirt, Slop on some sunscreen and Slap on a hat. You don’t want to get burnt while on vacation.
So many times I have seen some poor British tourist who has found just what it is like outdoors under the Australian sun. It is not a good like to be as red as a lobster, not to mention the harmful damage this does to your skin.
If you are the type that loves going on a vacation to a beautiful beach then you are in luck. Orbitz has a special that lasts until the April 6, 2008.

Rafael Nadal has just claimed the French Open title for the third consecutive year. Tennis action now moves to the green grass. Wimbledon is the ultimate destination for many a tennis fan.
For the 2007 Wimbledon tennis championships it is not too late to book your travel package to take your seat on center court, however you will need a fat wallet to do so.
I have been looking around the net for travel packages to Wimbledon. Sportstraveller.com list ticket only packages for $2,396.00 if you are looking for a men’s final ticket. Opening day centre court tickets are listed at $898.00.
Tennistours.com have available four night packages that take in either the Quarters or the Semis. Prices start at $6196. The packages include four nights staying at either the Sofitel, St James or at the Ritz. Distance by tube to Wimbledon from Sofitel St. James- 30 minutes, Ritz Hotel – 25 minutes.
While you are in London you can take in many of the fantastic sights and sounds. Some of my favourites include a visit to Buckingham Palace, a stroll past the houses of parliament and Big Ben. Also on my to do list is a theatre performance and a stroll through the shops along Bond Street.
If you are considering a trip to the tennis you had better act now. The first ball is served on June 25, 2007.
