Nothing says look at me more than a ride in a great limousine service. Not only do you make heads turn, you will also make people go green in envy. This may be the main reason for a limo however it is useful for more practical purposes as well. Limo rides or pick up services are especially useful for welcoming and picking up corporate heavyweights or other high profile people including political bigwigs or celebrities, from the airport and transporting them to the hotel or to that special red carpet event. A limo is as you know a big car which can comfortably accommodate many people within its fold simultaneously. You can even do some marketing or entertaining in the limo as they are likely to have a tv and dvd.
Next time you need to pick up a large group of heavy weight clients from the airport, hiring a limousine from a limo rental service seems a more practical idea than hiring a fleet of luxury cars, which is likely to blow the budget. A hired limo in such situations turns out to be a cheaper option, and in these times of trouble who doesn’t need cheaper options?
I know you are wondering how much the limousine companies charge for the pick up and drop off service. You have to understand how much this costs and how much they are willing to lower their price because you do not want to waste your time if they do not want to go within your budget. If there are any limits on where you come from and where they will take you from the airport. Some limo companies want to operate only within the city where the airport is located while others are glad to bring you to the next state if you want. Find out how far the limousine service can go and how much they will charge for longer trips. You have to understand if there are any extra bonuses during the ride. If the driver’s fee is included in the package or you may need to pay extra for that. If there are any snacks and drinks inside the vehicle; if there is a courtesy phone inside. Also be aware if there is a time limit and do you have to pay separate for toll fee, gas and so on. You should know if the company has the necessary licenses to operate within the airport premises and if it is accredited by the airport authorities. You have to be aware if there is insurance in case of an accident and what are the policies when it comes to customer privacy. In order to get the type of service that you want is to ask the company directly. If you are unsure about whether the company is credited you can check with the airport customer service. You may also want to read reviews about the company that you are planning to hire and there is no better way to understand what the other customers have to say.
The idea of getting a limo company from the airport is to feel secure and safety. Be certain that you get this feeling when you lay your eyes on the vehicle that will transport you when you see it. And do not forget that you are paying for the convenience.
Checking out for better service, then visit this link airport limo service. You can also visit limo service directory for similar services.
Don’t forget that a limo does not have to be for that corporate high flyer or rock star. You and a group of friends could hire one if you go away on a vacation together. It just takes a bit of extra planning to go that extra mile in style.

In Rome each year, Gay Pride Festival takes place. Gay Village 2008 26 June – 20 September, is an open-air gay summer event with movies, shops, music, performances, parties and more. Entrance free 20:00 – 21:30, after: on Thursdays 7 € (incl. 1 drink), on Fridays and Saturdays 13 € (incl. 1 drink). At Parco del Ninfeo, Via delle 3 Fontane all’Eur (Metro B: Magliana)
In past years the Pope has publicized his displeasure of the event, which has in turn sparked a lot of controversy, with the Vatican trying to get the festival banned. Thus, the festival has converted into what some describe; “the maintaining of democracy”, and a “festival of human rights”…
This year, Gay Village will see performances from the likes of; Giusy Ferreri and La Sorelle Marinetti. Regardless of what you think about the current climate in Rome, this festival is sure to be a blast regardless of your sexuality.
The well-designed area of Monte Testaccio where much of the festival takes place has been created with wooden cabins, bars, restaurants, dance areas and stages to re-create a small village where tolerance is the keyword. On the weekends, there is normally a very long queue, so get there early.

The winter months are a great time to go on a Southwest USA vacation. You will avoid the extreme hot weather found in summer.
In this article you will find a few preparation ideas to make the most out of your Southwest USA Culinary vacation.
Have a Large Appetite
The best way to do justice to any food vacation is to have a big appetite. What’s the purpose of paying for the opportunity to taste the best food of a given region or culture when your tummy can’t accommodate more than one bite?
Of course, possessing a big appetite doesn’t mean depriving yourself the day before.
Just make sure you don’t eat too much the day before your vacation. If possible, take a pill to ensure your stomach’s certifiably empty for the food fest ahead.
Prepare for the Heat – not just talking weather here
Hot is a term often associated with the Southwest in more ways than you might think.
Firstly, a majority of the dishes of Southwest food are especially spicy. Chimichangas, nachos, taquitos, stuffed peppers, chile relleno, chili con carne, and salsa are just some of the popular dishes that can get you hopping mad out of the restaurant with burning taste buds. If you’re not good at eating spicy stuff, make sure you have a small canister or jug of iced water with you at all times; there will be times when you just can’t wait a second longer to cool your mouth off.
Secondly, Southwestern states are not exactly the coldest regions of the country. The climate in this region, especially in Arizona and Texas, can be quite ovewhelming in its heat. You can’t beat Arizona attractions. But be sure you’re dressed comfortably in light, airy clothing. Wearing a cap or sun visor as well as a pair of sun glasses can help shelter you from the heat.
Heat exhaustion and heat stroke are always a concern, so again, having an ample source of water with you at all times is necessary.
Get Ready for the Heat
Concerning the heat, there are also certain aspects of the weather that you might have to watch out for. Mosquitoes are a nominal but irritating problem, but one that a mosquito repellent can often cure. Rainfall can also be a cause of trouble, but not if you come ready with a raincoat and umbrella.
Clothing
Since we’re on the subject of clothing, be sure to ask your vacation organizer if you’ll visit any locations with a requisite dress code. Knowing how to dress can also help guarantee that you pack light for your Southwest US vacation.
Bring a First Aid Kit with You
Trip planners always have first aid kits with them, but there’s no telling when you’ll find yourself alone and separated from your group. As such, it would do you no harm to have your own first aid kit with you.
However, if you’ve considerable experience vacationing, you might already have a first aid kit packed with your things. There are, specifically, extra things you could add to your kit in consideration of “special dangers” you might face during your Southwest US tour.
If your vacation includes a trip to the desert, antidotes for snake bites and treatments for other types of bites (remember: scorpions and spiders can cause harm, too!). High altitude sickness or acute mountain sickness (AMS) is also a problem if your food tour includes a short but challenging mountain hike.
Double Check Everything
Lastly, examine your travel checklist several days before you depart for your trip. Call your tour organizer to guarantee that everything’s ready in their side as well.

A work colleague has just returned from a five week vacation in Europe. I asked her which places she enjoyed the most. Her answer was London, Paris and Barcelona. No doubt many of you are familiar with London and Paris. You may not know so much about Barcelona. If not, read on.
Barcelona on the shores of the Mediterranean is the capital of Catalonia, an autonomous community of Spain. The city was showcased to the world during the 1992 summer Olympics. Who can forget the spectacular lighting of the Olympic cauldron as the archer shot his arrow into the cauldron? Apart from enjoying the best in sport at the time I also remember the spectacular sights from around the city during the Olympic coverage.
Some places of interest you should see during your visit to Barcelona include La Rambla, Barri Gotic, Museu Picasso, La Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, Montjuic and Tibidabo.
The locals known as Catalans are fervent defenders of their language, culture and traditions, normally define their identity as Catalan ahead of Spanish. Add this fantastic city to your must visit destinations and book your accommodation in Barcelona!
La Sardana, a traditional dance, forms part of their surprising folklore which is still alive today. The participants form a circle, take each other by the hand and dance to the sound of the tamberines, wind instruments and rustic flutes. Els Castells is another very famous tradition. These human towers require alot of skill and an almost blind trust in your partner. For many, it is a symbol of courage and the solidarity between Catalans.
Catalan, together with Castellano, is the official language of the community. Keeping the language alive is one of the most important aspects for the catalan people and with regards to the situation of bilingualism, Catalan is the language most used here. Therefore, making an effort to learn the basic vocabulary for conversation in Catalan would be very useful if you are considering coming to Barcelona, as a mark of repect. It is also the first step to integration.
With regards to the typical Catalan character, from a general perspective, it is said that you have to really get to know the person well to find out. Catalans generally steer away from superficiality and prudency, but after the first impression and once you really get to know them, “the Catalan” can normally be a loyal and very fun kind of person. It could also be said that the Catalan character is a species that consists of a mix between good (seny) and excessive (rauxa). You just have to look at Gaud? and Dal? to see this! Make sure when you come to this wonderful place, you stay in a Barcelona apartments or a hotel in Barcelona
Sports fans are well catered for in Barcelona. Even if you are not a football or soccer fan it would be worthwhile attending a Barcelona Football Club match at Camp Nou. This huge stadium can host close to 100,000 fans. There is also an annual Formula 1 grand prix. In 2009 the F1 race will be held on 8-10 May. Tennis fans can enjoy the Open Sabedell Atlantico ATP tennis tour event in April each year.

This Magic Mountain can be seen from many different view points in the city of Barcelona and looks particularly striking at night when it is lit up and shines like gold.
The Mountain of Tibidabo is 512 metres in altitude and is the highest point of the Collserola hills. Up until recently the amusement park there was in disarray but has recently been restored by the Generalitat of Catalunya. Famous for its hall of mirrors, it’s old charm and the fact that it was created 100 years ago, Tibidabo amusement park now has new attractions such as; the Plane, the Carrousel, the Automata Museum, the Talaia, the Panoramic and three children’s rides Les Llaunes, Pony Rodeo and R?o Grande.
There is also a 12minute film, subtitled in Spanish and English in the Cel building which tracks the history of Tibidabo over the years starting from the 1920’s to the present day. It primarily celebrates the 100th anniversary of Tibidabo and shows its close links to the history of Barcelona. The amusement park dates back to 1899, to the founding of the “Tibidabo Company” by the pharmaceutical pioneer Salvador Andreu. One of his aims was for people to have somewhere in the city where they could come and relax and thus created this special recreational area on the hilltop.
After leaving your apartments in Barcelona or Barcelona hotels, make your way over to Tibidabo by train (L7) to “Av Tibidabo”, then take the funicular, Tramvia Blau or Tibidabo Bus up to the top. You can also catch the Tibibus from Pla?a Catalunya, which runs from 10:30 everyday. The Blue Tram and the Funicular were inaugurated on 29th Oct 1901, and shortly afterwards the first attractions were installed on Tibidabo. The park still conserves some of the most significant ones that have filled it during its hundred years of existence: for example, the Castle of Terror and the Big Dipper. One of its most unusual items is the aeroplane, which dates from 1928 and is a replica of the model that made the first flight between Barcelona and Madrid.
If you want to see a bit more than just the amusement park, Tibidabo is home to other interesting sites such as The Fabra Observatory and the Experimental Physics Museum.
As well as this, the two buildings erected between 1901 and 1905: the first by Camil Fabra, the Marquis of Alella, who built the astronomical observatory which bears his name, designed by Josep Dom?nech i Estap?, and the latter, nearby, in 1905, built by Ferran Alsina; the museum of experimental physics named “La Mentora”, which, due to the great interest of its collection of scientific apparatus of the time, has been conserved to the present day. Finally, in 1908 the slopes of the mountain were converted into a municipal park and it is lovely to take a walk here and leisurely make your way back to your Barcelona accommodation.

Your Luxury cruise – Cruises Deals
You may not consider Cruise ships as family vacation vessels. Think again as there are a large number of cruises, like Carnival’s “fun ships” targeted at fulfilling just this purpose. On a cruise you can be safe in the knowledge that the kids are not going that far, unless of course they go overboard. Also, there is a little bit of something for everyone in all age groups. From adults, to teens, to kids, there are many coordinated activities as well as focused facilities for all different age groups. You can rest assured that no one will be bored on a family cruise.
Choosing cruise ship deals wisely.
For parents there are the usual activities. Your rest, relaxation and rejuvenation is certainly the focus and you can spend all the time you’d like lounging by the pool or watching the waves go by on the deck, as well as making appointments for a massage or facial. There are also great opportunities for socializing and networking, and it is a good idea to have either a small notebook on hand, or at least copies of your business card to give to new friends and contacts. There are also wine tasting groups, exercise rooms and nightclubs are on the adults only agendas for most family cruises.
For kids, there are all kinds of activities on board family cruises. From special times in the pool, to special gym classes, the kids are at least seemingly the focus on a family cruise. There are also children’s centers focused on entertaining the kids and keeping them busy while the adults enjoy their alone time. There are craft activities and fully certified staff to work with your most precious commodities: your kids.
If you have older kids, there are also teen centers on board some cruise ships. This is becoming a more and more popular trend. In fact Coca-Cola recently teamed up with the Carnival cruise line to bring exciting new teen centers to their fun ships. These teen centers have been created out of extensive market research and include dance floors, jukebox listening stations, a mock bar with non-alcoholic specialty drinks and space for the teens to just hang out. This is a revolutionary concept, since teens are a previously untapped market in terms of cruise line focus marketing. Teens are also more likely to find things that they enjoy in the ports of call than will younger kids.
One reason that cruises are a great idea for family vacations is that most of the costs are included in the base price of the trip. While you are on the ship, things like meals and activities are for the most part covered. This is great because you do not have to give per diems to your kids and you can know up front how much your vacation is going to cost. Of course, you will want to have extra money on hand for when you leave the ship and get to do some real travel.
Ready for a cruise? Then read these vacation packing checklist tips.

I have always loved luxury hotels and resorts. I have to admit that I like being pampered. At luxury resorts, you get the best treatment. It isn’t so much about the amenities. True, you will have a more comfortable bed, the benefit of excellent room service, an on sites spa, a masseuse, and dozens of other little perks. Still, for me it is the feeling of being treated especially well by the hotel staff. It makes me feel that I am special and important, something that I should feel. After all, I did not get to be one of the heads of industry by being lazy. I got here through talent, skill, and my heritage. My parents taught me good values, and provided sage advice and a generous chunk of inheritance.
Luxury Hotels
Choosing luxury hotels can be very difficult. It is not all about the price, although many people think it is. This is how some second string so-called luxury resorts trick you. They work on the assumptions that people make that just because a luxury resort is expensive means that it is high quality. This is not always the case. Don’t get me wrong – cheap luxury hotels are only cheap by luxury standards. Nevertheless, sometimes the best hotels are not the most expensive ones.
There is no magical tricks to selecting the best luxury hotels. Of course, it helps to have friends who stay in luxurious resorts. They will be able to give you advice from their own trips. Nonetheless, a lot of the time – particularly if you travel a lot – you have to do the research yourself. The only tip that I can give you on this is to get as much information as possible. The more you know, the more likely you are to make the right decision on luxury hotels.
Are there any reviews available? Are they written by travel agencies or by private individuals who visited these 4 star hotels? A good travel website can help you, but you can not trust all of them. Some of them are simply there to sell you their own products, and will play up the virtue of all the hotels. Generally, as a rule of thumb, if there isn’t at least one mediocre or bad review on the site, you probably can’t trust it. After all, not all hotels luxury are going to be good. Only trust a site that is willing to tell you what the bad ones are. More on Resources101.

I don’t know about you, but the end of summer and the start of the dreary, drab winter months makes me feel depressed, cold and chubby. Eating stogy meals, wearing thicker clothes and getting the metro everywhere has certainly made me feel that I am not getting enough exercise. Luckily, one of the most exhilarating forms of exercise – dancing, takes place in bars across Barcelona all year round, keeping the heat and passion of summer going. Make sure you get your accommodation in Barcelona booked and make the most of the dance classes Barcelona has to offer.
Take salsa for example. I can’t think of a more passionate, hot and lively form of dancing and it is for this reason that I decided to do a bit of research into what is available in Barcelona. To get an idea of some of the best ones, you simply have to try. Some classes will be more suited to your style and tastes, but needless to say, you’re bound to have a good time once you get the hang of it. Barcelona has an abundance of salsa classes for you to try out if you are living here or if you are staying in a Barcelona hotel or apartments in Barcelona as a holiday maker.
With this in mind, I also thought about learning a bit of burlesque dancing… sexy, lively and definitely good for toning up your muscles, Barcelona is suprising low in the number of burlesque dance classes available. On the 9th October 2008 at 10pm there is a show with Little Victor and Dj Nino plus British Burlesque star Miss Polly Rae at Apolo. Burlesque dancing is certainly becoming a major form of entertainment and exercise, if not in Barcelona, in Paris. With the increase in traffic to websites such as suicide girls, which promote the average woman as beautiful and the ideal, not skinny models with no figure, the “burlesque look” is definitely making a comeback.
Buenavista is a specialist Salsa and Latino dance school who can mould your unrestrained energy (that I know I have and its fighting to get out), into something more artistic. To begin the only thing necessary is to have rhythm and enthusiasm although later on you might decide to buy some dance shoes. There are a range of different classes from beginners to experts. Dancing is always done with partners although you can attend the classes by yourself as the dance school will pair you up if necessary. Classes are run on a ten weekly basis and cost €10 for one hour. (Salsa courses: www.salsabuenavista.com C/Rosell? 217, Tel: 932376528 / Salsa Clubs: www.mojitobcn.com)

I always wanted to visit Rome and am interested in Italian cuisine. Italy is the place where people are said to be constantly eating pasta or pizza, but there’s a unique museum dedicated to this staple part of the country’s cuisine. This is the first museum of its kind that specialises in one food group. It cannot be missed, especially for the ones who love cooking.
At the ‘Museo Nazionale delle Paste Alimentari’ you will first learn a lot about the history of the famous dish and its production. 8 centuries of pasta history are presented in 11 different rooms. You will also learn about all the different ways of producing pasta, as there is so many different ways of doing so.
Starting with the wheat until you finally get the pasta…you’ll see the evolution from simple ingredients to intricate dishes. Did you know that the history of pasta dates back to the 12th century? So it’s understandable that there’s a lot of information to get! And what exactly is pasta made of? You’ll also get answers to that question.
Even if the more ‘conventional’ museum fails to inspire your young ones, the ‘Museo Nazionale delle Paste Alimentari’ will for sure. Like almost every other child, my daughter loves pasta and there is no other place where she could get so much information about her favourite dish. The museum is at Piazza Scanderberg 117, very close to the Trevi fountain where you should also go. You can visit the museum easily by public transport as there are approximately 10 busses going there. (Yep, the Italians really do LOVE their pasta.)
The museum is open every day (even Sundays) from 9.30am until 5.30pm. (Closed on public holidays) If you want to go with a big group, it’s probably best to let them know in advance. The entry fee is 10 euros for adults and 7 euros for children under the age of 18. The price includes a MP3 player which provides you with all of the information in 6 different languages.
The museum will provide you and your family a whole day of fun. It’s almost guaranteed that everyone will love this day trip, because lets face it, everyone loves pasta. If you visit the Italian capital it is recommended to book your accommodation in the centre (Unterkunft Rom) in advance. If you come with your family, you will have more space in an apartment (Ferienwohnungen Rom) and it is cheaper than a Hotel Rom.

With the 5-star resorts and world class hotels scattered all over the island, it comes as no surprise that Montego Bay is one of the best places to stay in the Caribbean. No problems with finding good places to eat or fun things to do and paying for so many different things because they usually have it all planned out for you.
There are lots of resorts that will fit your vacationing needs – some world hotel franchises, and others native. Absolutely no problem to get the best vacation spot for yourself, your significant other or your family. There’s the Alamanda Inn or the Wyndham Rose Hall resort which are lodgings that are quite popular on the shores of Montego Bay. Need a trusted world class resort, then there’s the White Sands and the Ritz Carlton.
Other resorts in the area are the Half Moon resort and Pebbles resort. For some peace and solitude, you can visit resorts on Runaway Bay which is also part of Montego Bay. There you’ll find the Gran Bahia Principe and the Villa Sunflower Beach Resort.
These are only a few of the most popular places to stay in Montego Bay. You will never have a problem finding a good resort as there are just so many to choose from, each offering what every tourist needs – a little mix of fun, rest and relaxation.
Why should you travel to Jamaica?
It is a large expanse of beaches, home of the Rastafarian lifestyle, has cool blue rivers reaching up to more than 100 in number, filled with thick history, home to the Blue Mountain Range, and it’s in the Caribbean. How can you go wrong with a place that already mirrors paradise? Going for holidays to Jamaica is a great idea.
If the greens, reds and golds of the Rasta men don’t capture your heart, then maybe the music will. Jamaica is the home of reggae. With a few days of absorbing the carefree lifestyle, you’ll never want to leave. There’s a kind of magic that thrives only in Jamaica, in the quaint historical towns and in the one-with-nature attitude of the people.
Music runs through the veins of the Jamaican lifestyle. To them, it doesn’t matter whether you’re a native or a tourist. Once you’re in Jamaica, you are part of the community and you are encouraged to live and breathe the Jamaican way of life. Should you be in the mood for pampering, there are lots of 5-star resorts scattered along Jamaica, the 3rd largest island in the Caribbean.
One trip will make you want to come back for more. That’s how they do it in Jamaica. It’s a place to forget the problems of the real world. After a few days or weeks on the island, you’ll be refreshed and ready to head back to conquer another year of work.
Compare this with Hawaii luxury rentals and make your own choice.
