As we are getting closer to October and November now is a great time to be looking to book a holiday in Fiji. The water is lovely and warm at this time of year and it is said that water visibility is better at this time of year.
The last time I visited Fiji with my family we took advantage of the savings achieved by booking a Fiji package holiday. We were able to get seven nights for the price of four. We also had big savings on our meals as we pre-purchased our meals.
The resort we stayed at is the Shangri-la Fijian. It was a great resort. Lots of things to do and it is well maintained. We also spent a day at the Beachcomber Island. To get there we took a boat ride from Denarau Harbour near Nadi. The snorkeling at the island was fantastic.

Fiji is one of my favorite travel destinations. The people are friendly, the weather is warm year round and the scenery is spectacular. There are many choices a tourist can make in terms of where to stay and what to see.
For me I think the best option is a Fiji package holiday. When arranging your vacation as a package deal you normally get a big discount on either the flight or the accommodation. Or you may save through food coupons or some other discounted product.
The last time my family and I went to Fiji we stayed at the Fijian Shangri-La resort. Our holiday was purchased as a package deal and as a result we received three days free accommodation.
The Shangri-La resort is about sixty minutes from Nadi International airport and is situated on the Coral Coast. The resort is on a small island connected to the mainland by bridge. There are many dining options available to guests of the resort. There are also many activities to keep you entertained throughout your stay.
To keep the kids entertained there is a kids club. Your children will be well looked after allowing you time to relax with your partner. My favorite activities included snorkeling and paddling on a canoe.
When we visited in December the water was a very pleasant temperature both in the ocean and in the resort swimming pools. My wife and I enjoyed a late night dip in the main swimming pool. I took advantage of the massage service offered in the health spa to further enhance my experience of rest and relaxation.

A new section has been added to the CheapFlightsCruises.com website. It covers Fiji and is found under the destinations link on the home page.
I love Fiji. It is warm and the people are friendly. The last time I visited my family and I stayed at the Shangri La resort on the Coral Coast. I highly recommend this resort. When on that last holiday we also visited several other resorts on the Coral Coast of Fiji. They included the Warwick and Outrigger on the Lagoon.
I hope you will find the information about Fiji useful when next planning your Fiji vacation.

If you are planning a vacation to Australia you may want to combine your time on the mainland with a P&O cruise to the South Pacific Islands or up the Australian coast. Or if you live in Australia why not go on a cruise? Right now P&O are offering cruises where you can save up to 60 per cent. The cruises depart from Sydney. To get these great bargains you will need to book by 28 February 2007.
While cruising the South Pacific you will visit pristine beaches and beautiful palm-shaded lagoons. You will also experience exotic cultures and you will have a chance to meet the locals for a wonderful cultural experience. The cruises visit the crystal clear waters of New Caledonia, Loyalty Islands where there is always a welcoming smile. They also visit Vanuatu where you will be amazed by the sunsets and you can also visit magical Fiji.
Some examples of the great cruises P&O have on offer include a saving of 60 per cent for a cruise from Sydney to Luganville, Wala, Mystery Island, Isle of Pines and return to Sydney. The cruise lasts for 11 nights and prices start from $915 Australian for a 4 berth cabin.
The great thing about a cruise is that once you are on board you don’t have to worry about going out for food or getting from your hotel to the local attractions. On a cruise nearly everything you can imagine is right there. You will find many fun activities that are an all inclusive part of the cruise prices. You will also find many facilities such as a selection of dining rooms, buffet restaurant for casual dining, nightclub, large sunbathing desks, whirlpool spas, library, internet cafe, gym, spa and jogging track. The kids are also well looked after in the kids centres so there is plenty of time for you to relax.

You will also be entertained at the welcome cocktail party. This will be followed by cabaret shows, live bands and you can take in recent-release movies on the big screen.
