I am visiting Beijing in the near future and want to visit Hong Kong for a few days also, yet internal flights seem to be quite expensive to Hong Kong, and I’ve been having a hard time to find cheaper flights.

The cheapest flights I have found is into Shenzhen, which is 2340 yuan return in August. Is this about as cheap as it gets, or is there cheaper flights available than this?

Thanks for the advice. How close to the date should I ideally book it? I checked tickets for late May and they were much cheaper than August? Is 3 weeks ahead the best time or does it vary based on the season?
